  • Welcome to TBAH
    Welcome to all horse enthusiasts! This group was originally created on Feb. 9th, 2003 at MSN groups by our founder and visionary, Bill Gibson (aka "Hoot") and ran until Feb. 2009 when MSN closed their group service. TBAH then ran on NING network from Feb 2009 til May 2010 when Ning started charging a fee for group service, Then we started the FreeForum Network.

    It started with hope that, through the tools provided here and a willingness of all area people to participate in some way, that we can have an online presence where we can be seen by people from all over, as well as be a resource and information place for people in Northwestern Ontario. With the support of area organizations; we continue to grow a complete and accurate listing of events, meetings, news, etc. from all over the region, as well as from the larger events. Whatever your equine interest; come on in and get connected!

  • Turning Point Stables
    Turning Point Stables is a small private facility located just out side Kakabeka Falls, just off Hwy 11/17. We offer 10'x10' box stalls bedded in shavings with sliding doors and a 3'x3' window that opens. There is 3 acre pasture fenced with no climb mesh and topped with an electric braid for added security. For the rider there is a tack room with space for all your gear, a fridge to store drinks and snacks and a 10' wide well lit aisle to groom and tack up in. There is a 110' x 60' outdoor riding ring as well as access to miles of quiet country roads and trails on crown lands. Board includes access to all the facilities, all feed, hay and bedding, daily turnout, overall checks, blanketing and bandaging as well as holding for the vet or farrier.
